The foundation of my approach is rooted in a quality of attention that is multi-directional. This includes listening to the subtleties in words, emotional shifts and bodily cues that may be overlooked, minimized, or amplified. What may seem ordinary, distressing, contradictory, or merely automatic in the mind will be investigated and hosted in a process that facilitates a new thing to emerge. We will look closely at what feels unchangeable, what underlying perspectives have been internalized and over-identified with, and other psychological positions that can haunt and protect in different situations.

In our work together, discovering how your mind experiments with new ways of seeing can become an entry point into exploring avoidances, ambivalence, desires, memories, wishes, and limitations. I will enter these hidden places with you to foster clarity, meaning-making, and a greater capacity to connect with yourself as you respond to the world around you.
